My name is Becky and I live in Bordeaux, France. I am married, and am a mother to two boys who I think are wonderful. I also have a bichon frise we call Leeloo ["Multipass!"]. I like many things, especially baking, reading, art, movies, design, history, knitting and writing. If you are ever in Bordeaux, and see me zipping around the city on my bike (with a child seat in the back), please say "hello".
To make a long story short: I worked for several years as a corporate attorney but I changed career paths after I moved to France. In 2000, while pregnant with my first son, I taught myself to knit. I then taught myself to sew. All this inspired me to return to school full time for two+ years to receive formal training in apparel design and clothing construction. I am now a registered artisan in the Chambre de Métiers et de l’Artisanat in Aquitaine and design clothing, accessories and patterns. I love doing this!
